Cedar Shiplap

Timber cladding offers an economic, attracive and environmentally friendly way to complete a building exterior and is becoming increasingly popular with architects. We use imported Western Red Cedar for our shiplap because home grown cedar contains more sapwood is therefore less durable.

Cedar Parallel chamfered

These Cedar parallel chamfered boards are ex 22mm x 150mm and finish at 17mm thick with a cover of 130mm. Board lengths are variable but the majority are usually in the range of 3.6m to 4.5m (12’ to 15’). Machining allows each board to partially overlap adjoining boards, the profile is also sometimes known as splayed or open-joint cladding.

Cedar TGV

Two sizes of cedar TGV are kept in stock, ex, 19mm x 100mm and ex 22mm x 150mm. Western red cedar is naturally rot and insect resistant, it is also very stable and light in weight making it ideal for ceilings, garage doors, soffits, feature walls, stairways, saunas, pool & hot tub houses etc. etc.

Cedar featheredge

Our Cedar featheredge boards are machine planed for a quality finish and provided with a 15mm rebate to improve the products weather resistance. As with all cedar products they should be secured with stainless steel, silicon bronze or copper fixings.

Shingles - Western Red Cedar

We stock Western Red Cedar Shingles graded as No.1. Blue Label Certigrade in bundles which cover approx. 2.1 square metres and display a variety of rich red shades. Cedar is environmentally friendly, heartwood is naturally insect & rot resistant requiring no further preservatives and sourced from sustainable forests in Western Canada. Please note that this cedar product requires stainless steel or phosphor bronze fixings.
