Box profile polyester-coated steel sheets provide a cost-effective roofing option for stables, workshops, garages and larger sheds. Stock lengths from 2.44 - 4.88 metres, other sizes up 9.0 metres long to order. Sheets also available with Anticon - helps to control condensation and prevent dripping in non-insulated metal buildings. Please note Anticon sheets have 5-10 working days lead time.

Breathable membrane

At Southern Timber we keep two breather membranes to help keep the building watertight, allowing moisture to escape but preventing air leakage which in turn contributes to heat & energy saving. Web UV10 is the standard membrane supplied in a handy 1m x 50m roll; Web UV15 is the professional product with a higher tear/strength ratio and is supplied in 50 metre x 1.5 metre rolls.

Celotex Insulation

Celotex - multi purpose insulation board, uses include floors, roofs, timber framed and other buildings. Celotex insulation normally stocked in sizes 20mm-100mm; other sizes to order.

Guttapral roofing

Gutta sheets provide a low-cost, light roofing solution for stables, workshops, garages, sheds and other outdoor structures. Provides an attractive & practical roofing option backed by Gutta's 15 year guarantee. Black, green and translucent sheets, ridges, fixings & eaves fillers are kept in stock. Red sheets can be obtained to order but may incur carriage charges. Fitting instructions are available on request.

Roofing felt

Southern Timber supply tanalised timber framing, cladding and flooring products for a wide variety of building applications. One roofing option is our green 20kg mineral roofing felt which is stocked in 10 metre x 1 metre rolls and suitable for small pitched & pent roofs on sheds, log stores, kennels and small outdoor structures. The colour and brand of roofing felt may vary, please verify at time of purchase.

Shingles - Western Red Cedar

We stock Western Red Cedar Shingles graded as No.1. Blue Label Certigrade in bundles which cover approx. 2.1 square metres and display a variety of rich red shades. Cedar is environmentally friendly, heartwood is naturally insect & rot resistant requiring no further preservatives and sourced from sustainable forests in Western Canada. Please note that this cedar product requires stainless steel or phosphor bronze fixings.

Superglass Multi-Roll 44

Multi-Roll 44 is produced from fine, non-combustible mineral wool which is lightweight, flexible, resilient and noncombustible. Designers can meet building regulation requirements and improve a buildings overall energy performance when used in roof applications. All Superglass products are made from natural materials and recycled glass, Multi-Roll is stocked are 100mm, 150mm and 200mm thicknesses.
