Sika Adhesives

Sika bonding adhesives are widely recognised as the premier products for laying wooden floors directly onto concrete and old ceramic tiles. SikaBond T2, T52 and T54 are suitable for most types of timber and engineered wood floors, with the elastic properties of the adhesives absorbing the stresses generated by the flooring. These stresses are mainly caused by the flooring reacting to changes in humidity by increasing/decreasing moisture content and then correspondingly changing its dimensions. Sika Primer MB is used where necessary to consolidate loose surfaces e.g. concrete and provide a moisture barrier.

SikaBond T54

SikaBond T54 is supplied in 6kg or 13kg tins and should be applied with a notched trowel. Suitable for variety of different wooden floor types.

SikaBond T52

SikaBond T52 is supplied in 600ml sausage form and is applied with the Sika Bulk Gun or a notched trowel. For flooring, skirting or thresholds.

SikaBond T2

SikaBond T2 is supplied in 310cc cartridge form and is suitable for wooden flooring or as a high strength construction adhesive.

Sika Primer MB

Sika Primer MB is a two component primer and moisture regulator. It also increases the coverage rates of SikaBond adhesives.
