The project proposal
Our customer approached us with a plans and a detailed cutting sheet for a proposed tender. The project was all in green oak timbers and there was a reasonable volume allowing us several options for a mill suitable to cut the volume and quality of oak required for this build.

From tender to acceptance seemed remarkably short and the instructions were issued to the French mill responsible for cutting the oak. The timber was delivered on schedule to ourselves in Early 2007; a small amount of re-machining was then undertaken here in Devon.
