Payments
At Southern Timber we will accept the following methods of payment.
Account
Many of our regular Trade customers have opened Monthly Accounts. Opening an Account is usually straightforward depending mainly on references, but please note that Accounts cannot be opened instantly.
Cash
Customers collecting goods from the Yard are welcome to pay for their goods by cash. We do not however accept Cash on Delivery. Anybody wishing to pay cash for a delivery must call at Ipplepen where they will be given a payment receipt.
Cheque
We no longer accept cheques for goods collection or deliveries. Anybody wishing to pay by cheque must make their payment prior to receipt of goods and these funds must also be cleared. Monthly Account customers are still welcome to settle their accounts by cheque.
Debit & Credit Cards
This is now our preferred method of payment. Customers collecting from the yard must have their card with them, they will also need to remember their PIN number too!
We accept most recognised major credit & debit cards with the exception of American Express and Diners Club. In addition to your card details we will need house number and postal code for address verification.
