Carcassing - 100mm timbers

The 100mm timbers are available from home grown unseasoned stock, and these are usually graded at C16. Home grown stock is usually slightly larger in dimension than Baltic stock and is normally used in large agricultural buildings. Timbers can be cut to larger sizes where required, recently one building required 100mm x 350mm at 8.00 metre lengths.

All of these timbers are pressure treated to a minimum Hazard Class 3 to minimise any deterioration from damp in building installations or from external exposure.
