Cedar featheredge

Feather-edge boards are formed by sawing a rectangular section at an angle, resulting in two sections tapered across the width. Featheredge boards provide a traditional, rural looking product that is ideal for many cladding applications in a rural setting.

This cedar featheredge is intended for cladding - the boards are normally laid horizontally, each board is rebated which means that the boards are self-spacing. More importantly the rebate provides a better weather proof barrier than normal featheredge.

Our cedar feather-edge boards have a machine planed finish and because we use imported western red cedar they are very stable with minimal dimensional shrinkage or movement. To help minimise any movement they should be fastened at a maximum of 600mm centres
