Ensele

When cutting any pressure treated timber, it is recommended that any cut ends be treated, to prevent water ingress and re-seal the exposed fresh timber.

Ensele is produced by Arch Chemicals, the company who produce Tanalith and Tanatone wood treatments. It provides the ideal solution for treating cross-cut timbers where the exposed centre of the timber is prone to the ingress of water.

Although the Ensele appears blue it will soon change colour to green when applied to the cut timber. Two liberal coats of Ensele should be applied to the cut end grain for maximum preservative effect. Not suitable for use on smooth timber edges or faces - use Osmo WR Base Coat Aqua as a primer coat and then Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain.
