Pale gates

A popular garden gate where privacy is not an issue. The pale gates are made to blend in with our ready-made pale panels as closely as possible. All materials used are selected from our normal high quality fencing range.

These gates are ledged and braced using pressure treated and structurally graded timber. The pales are spaced “hit one, miss one” – the gaps between the pales are the same width as the pales themselves. Pale gates are made with round top and pointed top pales. Round top pale gates are stocked as 1.8m high x 0.9m wide (approx. 6’ x 3’); 1.2m high x 0.9m wide (approx. 4’ x 3’); and 0.9m high x 0.9m wide (approx. 3’ x 3’).

Pointed top pale gates are stocked as 1.2m high x 0.9m wide (approx. 4’ x 3’); and 0.9m high x 0.9m wide (approx. 3’ x 3’) depending on stock availability.

Different sized gates can be made to order, lead time is normally 5-10 working days. A comprehensive range of gate furniture – e.g. T-hinges, padlocks and latches is kept in stock.
