SikaBond T2

SikaBond T52 is a one part elastic adhesive used for wooden flooring or as a high strength construction adhesive. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor bonding of window sills, thresholds, stair steps, skirting boards, covering boards, sign-boards and prefabricated elements etc. SikaBond®-T2 has a strong adhesion on concrete, bricks, stones, tiles, ceramic, wood, aluminium, steel, plaster, hard PVC and a selection of other materials

The key feature is that the elastic nature of the adhesive reduces the stress between materials of different expansion rates, or in flooring applications between the substrate level and the wooden flooring. It is suitable for sub-floor heating and also helps to reduce the sounds from foot traffic.

Supplied in 310cc cartridge form the coverage will with adhesive at 250mm centres is quoted by Sika at 310cc per sq. metre, which means one cartridge would cover 1.0m2.
