Stockwalling
Stockwalling
Also known as dungwalling this is a very versatile timber was designed for flexible livestock housing but is ideal for earth retainers in gardens and landscaping projects. Stockwalling boards have a TGV profile and interlock together – stacked up behind appropriate sized posts they can make an effective retaining barrier very quickly.Machined from home grown timber these stockwalling boards are a substantial ex 200mm x 50mm, not to be confused with some smaller products offered elsewhere. Length availability is normally 4.572 metres (a full 15’) and 6.1 metres (a full 20’) and the boards have a smooth planed finish.
All crosscuts should be treated twice with Ensele end grain treatment to maintain the timbers resistance to moisture. The boards are pressure treated with Tanalith-E and will weather to a silvery-grey finish. Where preferred the end-user may choose to change the colours by using a product from the Osmo outdoor range of timber stains.
