TGV - Tanalised 19x100

TGV profile boards are machined so that each one interlocks with the adjoining boards while still allowing movement of timber with changes in weather conditions. These boards are machined from quality kiln dried redwood timber and then pressure treated to help ensure an extended and low maintenance service life.

Our smallest tanalised TGV boards are ex-19mm x 100mm and finish at approx. 14mm thick with a cover of 85mm. Board lengths vary from pack to pack but normally we aim to keep lengths at, or near, 3.6 metres (approx. 12’) and 4.8 metres (approx. 16’) in stock. These boards are often used for making gates, cladding soffits, cladding walls and studded partitions and underneath decking voids.

All cross-cuts should be treated twice with Ensele end grain treatment to maintain the timbers resistance to moisture. These pressure treated boards will weather to a silvery-grey finish but the colour can be maintained or enhanced with a choice of oils or stains.
