TGV - Tanalised 25x150

TGV profile boards are machined so that each one interlocks with the adjoining boards while still allowing movement of timber with changes in weather conditions. These boards are machined from quality kiln dried redwood timber and then pressure treated to help ensure an extended and low maintenance service life.

These TGV boards are ex-25mm x 150mm and finish at approximately 20mm thick with a cover of 132mm. Board lengths vary from pack to pack but normally we aim to keep lengths at, or near, 3.6 metres (approx. 12’) and 4.8 metres (approx. 16’) in stock. These boards are often used for making gates, stable & barn doors, cladding walls, studded partitions and for laying floors in exposed conditions.

All cross-cuts should be treated twice with Ensele end grain treatment to maintain the timbers resistance to moisture. These pressure treated boards will weather to a silvery-grey finish but the colour can be maintained or enhanced with a choice of oils or stains.
