Flooring - Engineered
Southern Timber have developed their flooring range to include softwood, solid hardwood and engineered floor boards. This selection is enhanced with door linings, skirting, architrave and planed timber to provide the finishing touches. Specialist SikaBond adhesives from Sika, hybrid hard wax oils from Treatex and other fixings and tools mean that virtually everything can be obtained from one source.
Solid timber flooring is normally imported in packs of assorted widths which are then machined to maximise yield without compromising quality. Packs may vary in size from around 25 sq. metres to as much as 110 sq. metres but within that pack the boards will be of fairly consistent length. Customers who specify 150 sq.metres of 182mm face size would therefore probably receive a mixture of board lengths, but wherever possible in the range they request
