Standard Beech Worktop

Solid wooden worktops are practical and add warmth to traditional or contemporary kitchens. Each standard worktop is constructed from 40mm wide, high-pressure glued, finger-jointed wood staves of varying lengths. All of our worktops are manufactured in Europe. These worktops offer a versatile solution suitable for domestic or commercial applications.

All worktops are supplied fully sanded to a smooth 150 grit finish. The worktops are supplied in this natural unfinished state so that prior to installation any further finishes may be applied according to the customers preference. Worktop edges are square as standard. After finishing all worktops must be sealed with a quality oil or Hardwax finish, we stock a selection of Liberon, Treatex and Osmo products for this purpose.

Beech is the most popular and versatile of all the hardwoods. The light tone and soft grain produce a bright feel that complements any style of kitchen. The 27mm thickness can also provide a solution for shelving, tables, office and computer work areas.
