Sturdy smooth edged pressure treated battens are arranged in squares* to produce a traditional trellis panel. These trellis panels have a wide range of uses including garden dividers, garden screens or provide climbing support for garden plants.
The battens used are 18mm x 36mm (approx. 3/4" x 1.5") and are spaced to provide as near to 145mm squares as possible. Please note the “squares” on the 6’ x 1’ can’t be exact because of the overall dimensions of the trellis panel.
While these trellis panels can be made to the customer's individual requirements they are stocked in the following sizes:
1.830 metre wide x 1.830 metre high (6' wide x 6' high)
1.830 metre wide x 1.525 metre high (6' wide x 5' high)
1.830 metre wide x 1.220 metre high (6' wide x 4' high)
1.830 metre wide x 0.915 metre high (6' wide x 3' high)
1.830 metre wide x 0.610 metre high (6' wide x 2' high)
1.830 metre wide x 0.305 metre high (6' wide x 1' high)
The strength of these panels means they can be used 'free-standing', that is supported by posts, or fastened to a wall. The thickness of these battens and construction is much heavier than a standard, garden centre product.
These trellis panels are stapled together but can be adapted to suit different needs within professional or DIY garden landscaping projects. Since 2014 we have purchased these quality trellis panels direct from a European manufacturer and have been able to pass cost savings on to our customers
