The Bradnor Log Cabin is available in two different sizes, the data here relates to the 2.2m x 2.m model.
The Bradnor is a traditional styled cabin, manufactured using 28mm planed interlocking logs. This cabin has a single glazed double doors. This model has a compact footprint, ideal for gardens where a working or storage facility is required but garden space is at a premium.
Adjustable door hinges, mortised locking door mechanisms and attractive roof shingles come as standard on all models. The timber used for construction is from slow grown Nordic spruce.
FSC certification of the timber used ensures sustainability and longevity of supply. The Cabin roofs and floors are constructed from kiln dried tongue and groove (T&G) boards.
Before cabin assembly takes place it is important to construct a solid, level base. This may be done by forming a concrete pad, or by using concrete slabs to produce a level, square, and solid base for your Log Cabin. The underlying ground should be prepared prior to base installation by leveling.
Forest Log Cabins are manufactured from kiln dried timber, a process which reduces moisture to a pre-determined level to minimise the risk of splitting and warping. Pressure treated floor bearers are supplied with each cabin, but the rest of the structure is supplied untreated – the cabin must be treated with preservative within 14 days of construction.
