Brass Handrail Bracket

The Brass Handrail Bracket are suitable for installations where the rope doesn’t terminate on every post.  Because rope provides a visual barrier it is popular for decking and landscaping applications. Our 28mm Polyhemp rope is a more stable product than manila rope which tends to change colour and shrinks when it gets wet.

The Polyhemp rope should be used with our range of rope fittings: rope end, rope hook/rope eye on plate.  All of these fittings are available in chrome plated brass, or as solid brass products complete with screw fixings.  These are quality finished rope fittings that provide a special finishing touch. Drilling holes for rope through wooden posts will reduce the integral strength in your decking posts

The Brass Rope Bracket is designed for 26mm or 28mm Poly Hemp rope, this fixing can be used one per post but still allows the rope to be secured at fixed intervals. Made of solid brass, includes fixing screws.

Please note that all cut rope ends should also be finished with a waterproof tape or heat sealed.

At Southern Timber we offer a kerbside delivery through the Torbay, Teignbridge, Exeter, South Hams and Plymouth areas. While most deliveries are free sometimes they may be chargeable depending on location and the total value of the order.
