Product Details

This Cotswold Arch is part of a garden furniture made in the UK.  The Arch is made using quality kiln dried Scandinavian redwood timber. All timber components are machined and treated with preservative on the same 12 acre site. Modular design and components help provide a coordinated  product range. Most of the Hutton range of tables, picnic benches, chairs, arches and arbours are available from stock. Other products available to special order.

Joinery quality timber & Tanalith treatment

The Cotswold Arch (COT-A) is made in the UK by a manufacturing group that was established in 1970. The group imports and processes timbers from well managed forests with most products being FSC certified. After the redwood sections are machined they are pressure treated in batches with Tanalith-E wood preservative. This treatment helps protect the timber against decay and fungal attack.  Tanalith treatment provides an increased service life to products only using a standard dip treatment.

Functionality and style

The Costwold Arch uses planed timber throughout. We can supply matching 75mm posts and other planed timbers from the same manufacturer. This would suit customers wishing to make this wooden arch part of a larger garden structure.  The height of the arch is 2400mm with a width of 1700mm and depth of 930mm.  This Cotswold Arch weighs in at 50 kg. in weight.

Cotswold Arch: Value for money

When comparing garden timber products it is advisable to check product specification as well as price. Cheaper products may be available but they are probably made from dipped whitewood and made overseas.  Backed by Hutton’s 15 year Treat Right Warranty against decay and fungal attack.

Looking after your Garden furniture

All our Hutton garden furniture is pressure treated to help protect the timber against decay and fungal attack. This pressure treatment, Tanalith E, starts as a light green but changes to a light honey brown, then continue to change after 18-24 months to a grey colour.
Colours can be maintained and enhanced where required by using Osmo 420 UV protection oil or other wood stains from Osmo or Treatex. If the timber has gone grey the timber appearance can be rejuvenated with Osmo or Liberon wood cleaners.
