SikaBond AT80 is also versatile in terms of the products that it can bond. It can be used to bond solid and engineered strips, planks, panels, boards, mosaic parquets, structured planks, laminate floorings and chipboards etc.

Bonds wood floors directly onto ceramic tiles.
All bonding surfaces must be dry, clean and free from dust and contamination. While the product adheres well without primer, to concrete, cement screeds, tiles, timber etc. it might require mechanical preparation on denser surfaces
Any vinyl tiles must be fully bonded, degreased and cleaned. Priming is required for porous surfaces, anhydrite screeds and mastic asphalt (see data sheet). SikaBond®AT- 80 should be applied directly from the container and spread uniformly using a SikaBond® serrated trowel. Press the timber firmly into the SikaBond®AT-80 adhesive, ensuring the contact face is fully bonded and elements are to line and level. Further details on data sheet and on the product label. A 17kg tub will cover approximately 18 -20 square metres depending on trowel used.
