The Antique Handrail Brackets are part of the Old Hill Ironworks range of durable gate and door furniture.  Suitable for indoors and outdoors the Antique Handrail Bracket will give the finishing touch to your traditional cottage styling and easy to operate.

The Antique Handrail Brackets have a durable 2 stage coating.  Firstly a zinc rich base layer for weather resistance. Secondly a UV stable finish allowing for indoor or outdoor use.

Firstly, the most durable of all ironmongery is Stainless Steel.  This is ideally suited to coastal areas and recommended for use on hardwood doors and gates. Secondly Galvanised is more suited to softwood and is available in far more options and reasonably priced.  Finally Black Japanned or powder coated door and gate furniture we would only recommend for indoor use. Its easily chipped and once the bare metal is exposed to the weather it will rust very quickly. Therefore we would always recommend Stainless Steel where ever possible!
