Laverton Lever Handles

The Laverton Lever Handles are part of the Old Hill Ironworks range of durable gate and door furniture.  The traditional styling and robust functional design will look great in any home or garden.

As with all Old Hill Ironworks product these handles are finished with a durable 2 stage coating.  Firstly a zinc rich base layer for weather resistance. Secondly a UV stable finish allowing for indoor or outdoor use.  Finally the Stainless Steel internal mechanism comes with a 12 year manufacturers warranty.

The  Laverton Handles can be fitted with a mortice lock or mortice latches. The Mortice Sashlocks or Mortice Latches will need to be purchased separately.

Other Gate and door Ironmongery available at Southern Timber

Firstly, the most durable of all ironmongery is Stainless Steel.  This is ideally suited to coastal areas and recommended for use on hardwood doors and gates. Secondly Galvanised is more suited to softwood and is available in far more options and reasonably priced.  Finally Black Japanned or powder coated ironmongery we would NOT recommend for outdoors. Its easily chipped and once the bare metal is exposed to the weather it will rust very quickly. Therefore we would always recommend Stainless Steel or galvanised where ever possible!
