Blue Mountain Oak Oiled is one of the lighter coloured boards in the Quick-Step Palazzo collection. The Palazzo solid wood range has a total of 22 variations in board colour or style. Beautifully proportioned, these long and wide planks will add warmth and character to any room.

Firstly, each plank is 1820mm in length with a width of 190mm. Thickness of these oak faced boards is 14mm. The face layer of oak is 3.2mm thick and finished with 2 layers of UV Oil. This oak is fixed to a spruce core which has a veneer backing.
Pack size for this engineered oak flooring is 2.075 square metres and the pack will contain 6 planks.
The floor design pattern is 1 strip, bevelled on four sides with a V groove bevel. Because maintaining the floor’s appearance is important these boards feature ‘EdgeProtect+’ on the board’s ends. This is a protective coating which is applied to minimise water and dirt ingress into the board ends.
This flooring has an oiled finish to help bring out the natural beauty of the boards. This flooring is suitable for use in most living areas including kitchen, stairs and conservatory areas. Also usable with underfloor heating but not for use in bathrooms. These boards can be floated or glued and they are compatible with low temperature underfloor heating
The oak boards are brushed and then finished in the factory with two layers of UV cured oil. These boards are graded by Quick-Step as ‘Vibrant’ which means the boards may exhibit large knots, up to 50mm in size and these knots may be filled or half-filled. There may also be a “lively” variation in both colour and structure of the boards and sapwood is allowed. Cracks are allowed in this grade.
