All Variano engineered flooring options carry a Manufacturers Lifetime Residential Warranty on the Uniclic fitting.
Espresso Blend Oak Oiled VAR1632
There are six different floor options in the Variano flooring collection. The Quick-Step Variano is similar to the Quick-Step Intenso range. Both styles feature planks that comprise small wooden boards of different length and width. These component boards will also vary in finish, some rough and some smooth, with variable size knots and degrees of straightness. Some boards might even feature saw cuts. These smaller boards are then handpicked and put together like a jigsaw puzzle to try and replicate a reclaimed look.
Due to demand for a quick and easy floor installation these boards feature the Uniclic ‘Multifit’ system. This Multifit system enables the engineered boards to be clicked together using three different methods: drop down, angling or horizontal insertion.
All packs of Variano engineered boards feature planks of 2200mm in length combined with a width of 190mm. These oak faced boards are all 14mm thickness, with the face layer of oak being 3.2mm thick. This oak is fixed to a solid spruce core and backing board. Finally, the Espresso Blend Oak boards are finished with two coats of UV cured oil.
Pack Sizes and Marquant grade
Pack size for the Espresso Blend Oak engineered oak flooring is 2.508 square metres and each pack contains six full length boards of 2200mm. Floor grades included in the Variano range are all Marquant, which could be described as a mixed grade. Marquant grade engineered flooring contains knots up to a maximum of 50mm diameter. Similarly all knots are half or fully filled and the grade allows lively variations in colour and in structure. Also all sapwood is colour stained to match the general colour tone of the floor. No cracks are allowed in the Marquant grade but the boards are best described as mixed and full of character
