Grain Oak Extra Matt IMP3790
Firstly the pack size for the Grain Oak Extra Matt is 1.936 square metres and each pack contains 4 planks. Each plank is 2200mm in length with a width of 220mm. Thickness of these engineered flooring board is 14mm. The top wear layer of oak is 3.2mm and the boards have a spruce core board. These Grain Oak boards have a large bevel on all 4 sides and the boards are a warm shade of honey-brown. The flooring has an extra matt finish. Floor grades included in the Imperio range are all Vibrant (rustic), except the Rough Grey Oak Oiled which is Marquant (mixed) grade. The boards are brushed so as to highlight the natural grain of the wood planks. Natural knots are a feature of this product, they are not all fully filled. Finally, these engineered oak boards are UV lacquered with a 7 layer finish.
Click or Glue Installation
The flooring can be installed quickly and easily using the Uniclic Multifit system. Professional installers claim floor installations of up to 30% faster than with traditional installation methods. This Multifit system enables the engineered boards to be clicked together using three different methods: drop down, angling or horizontal insertion. Both Click and Glue versions are compatible with low temperature underfloor heating.
Because maintaining the floor’s appearance is important these boards feature ‘EdgeProtect+’ on the board ends. This protective coating is applied to minimise water and dirt ingress into the board ends.
Parquet floors bearing the trade mark Quick-Step® are warranted to be free of manufacturing errors or material defects. This residential warranty is for the lifetime (up to 33 years) of the product. Also covered are the Uniclic® connections between the various parquet panels. Therefore the original, dated purchase invoice must be retained. Residential warranties are also subject to a number of Terms and Conditions. Commercial installations have to apply directly to Quick-Step to request a warranty.
