Chic Walnut is part of the Signature flooring collection. This laminate flooring was introduced by Quick-Step in late 2019. Comprising eighteen different options the collection includes whites, greys, browns and even a black finish. Quick-Step describe Signature as “the most refined and water-resistant floor”.

Firstly, each laminate plank is 1380mm long with a generous width of 212mm. The thickness of all Signature laminate flooring is 9mm.  Pack sizes for the Signature flooring is 2.048 square metres and each pack will contain 7 planks. The floor design pattern is single strip and there is a genuine bevel on all four edges.

Signature planks are produced using Class 32 technology and components. This means the flooring is designed for residential or light commercial use. So that Signature flooring can be used in most installations, like most Quick-Step floors, they are compatible with low temperature underfloor heating.

What about the water?

Finally, customers naturally want their new floor to be as durable and trouble-free as possible. Chic Walnut is part of the Signature collection of laminate floors. These latest generation laminate floors look stylish but they can also take a knock or two. Even more importantly they are treated with Hydroseal coating which is 100% resistant to water. Due to continuing demand Quick-Step offer several laminate collections that feature a water-repellent HydroSeal coating.  Consequently this coating also means the floor’s surface is completely sealed, so bacteria, dirt and even liquids can be easily cleaned. Due to this coating you can simply wipe off with a damp cloth, leaving a clean dry surface.
