Both traditional and contemporary interiors can benefit from the selective and creative use of interior cladding. This may be to cover an existing wall, uneven ceiling or maybe clad a new stud partition. Choosing the correct size and appearance of cladding with careful finishing can transform a room’s appearance.
16mm TGV Profile
The smaller TGV boards are ex 16mm x 100mm and finish at 11mm thick with a cover of 84mm. These TGV boards are still very popular for cladding interior walls and stud partitions, ceilings and roof joists, making doors and cupboards and bookcases.
Bead and Butt profile
Our Bead and Butt is a traditional timber profile. It was introduced to provide an alternative option to the ex 16mm x 100mm redwood TGV board. Machined from ex 16mm x 150mm kiln dried redwood this profile can be used for internal wall and partition cladding, joinery in wardrobe backs and kitchen cupboards.
Another alternative to timber tongue and groove boards, is Neatmatch which is machined from moisture resistant MDF. This makes it more suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and other high humidity environments.
