Bullnose Boards

Millboard decking is more than a collection of different coloured composite decking boards.  Over time Millboard have developed a range of composite edgings to complement each decking installation with edging for every colour in the Millboard enhanced grain colour range.

Bullnose edging is available in a standard rigid design, or in a flexible bullnose to finish edging the contours of unusual, curved areas. Millboard edging helps to give every space an elegant, framed look. The square edging was introduced at the beginning of February 2016, Bullnose board lengths have also be amended to make better use of the product, .

Edgings and Boards

Co-ordinated Millboard edgings are available for all styles in the Millboard decking range. Also available are Millboard fascia boards which are 16mm thick and come in 3.6 metre lengths.

Because not all decking installs are identical Millboard have developed a selection of edging edgings are 32mm x 50mm, the standard square and standard bullnose edgings are accompanied by a flexible bullnose edging.  Standard edgings are 3.6 metres long, while the flexible edgings are supplied in 2.4 metre lengths.  All deckboards and trims should be secured with Millboard’s Durafix stainless screw fixings.  These Durafix screws have Torx heads, the screws are lubricated and require no pre-drilling.  Therefore, when installed correctly they are almost hidden by the Lastane coating layer.

There are a total of ten colour edgings to complement the Millboard coloured fascias, trims and edgings. The fascia colour options are Antique Oak; Ashwood; Brushed basalt; Coppered Oak; Golden Oak; Golden Oak; Jarrah; Limed Oak and Smoked Oak/Driftwood

Flexible Edging

We offer Millboard bullnose flexible edging and composite decking flexible edging boards to maximise your design choices for profile edging any decking project. The bullnose design offers an elegant edging for your decking surface - large or small. Because Millboard bullnose flexible edging is so flexible, you can create tighter curves than is possible with standard edging. It is a fantastic addition to bold and innovative decking designs that make a statement in any stylish garden.

Composite decking flexible edging

One of the key benefits of composite decking is the possibility of incorporating curved edges to the deck design. Millboard have devised their decking system to include fascia support and flexible edging.  to make curved decking a reality. Both the bullnose flexible edging and the square composite flexible edging are key products.

Millboard also produce a bullnose flexible edging and a square composite flexible edging, both edging types are 50mm x 32mm in 2.4 metre lengths. All enhanced grain colours are available but note that the edgings for Driftwood & Smoked Oak use the same edgings because these colours are almost identical. Similarly, both Embered and Burnt Cedar edgings are black in colour and share the same edgings. Millboard Touch-Up coating is also available for sealing any cross-cut boards.

Millboard Plas-Pro Fascia Support is suppled in 3.0 metre length and form a vital part of the installation. The maximum radius that can be achieved is 1.2 metres.

Finally, for concealing any exposed cut board ends there is also a range of touch up coatings as well. This touch-up coating should increase the service life of the board – in addition it should look better to!
