Fence Posts

We stock a wide range of wooden fence posts and wooden posts, perfect for all your fencing requirements. Our range includes posts with a rough sawn finish, as well as smooth planed posts in the "newel" style. We stock square wooden fence posts in several sizes from 75mm up to 200mm square. Also stocked are smooth planed 75mm and 100mm posts.

Square wooden posts are mainly for fencing, elevated decks, garden workshops etc. Our range includes rough sawn posts along with smooth planed posts with chamfered newel styled tops. Also stocked are 100mm planed (up to 4.8 metres), and 75mm planed (up to 3.6 metres.

Large Square Posts - up to 200mm

Our largest pressure treated posts in stock are 4.8 metres long. These are not intended for wooden fence posts but are used for bunkers, field shelters, and timber buildings

Driveway and field gates are normally installed with 150mm,175mm or 200mm square cross-section posts. Generally, the bigger the gate then the bigger the hanging post should be. Smaller 3ft. and 4ft. gates usually suffice with 125mm posts.  

Large section, long posts

Cross sections for posts longer than 2.4 metres would be 150mm square (3.6m and 4.8m); 175mm square (3.6m and 4.8m) and 200mm square (3.6m and 4.8m). These are pressure treated posts and their service life can be extended using Post-Saver Wrap Tack.

Additionally, we keep galvanised bolt-down anchors for 75mm, 100mm and 150mm square posts. They can be secured ground fixings (e.g. concrete bolts) to block, brick or concrete.Other accessories and fixings are also stocked for use with other fence posts.
