Composite fencing is becoming increasingly popular and new manufacturers are entering the market.  DuraPost Fencing have developed a range of composite fencing accessories including durable metal posts, rails, composite fence panels and slats. Installation essentials

If you need a post then will want some rapid-setting concrete - we are selling Post-Crete under the Remix brand at the moment. Hole depth is recommended at 600mm. Installations on concrete would benefit from a DuraPost HD Bolt-Down

DuraPost® Cover strip helps to hide the screws and fixings on the back face of the post so that the post looks the same on all sides. 

DuraPost® Capping Rails are available in four colours to match posts and gravel boards. They also provide weather protection for parts of the fencing too. 

Another essential product, 40mm DuraPost® Pan head timber screws, has been designed specifically to securely attach the fence panels to the DuraPost posts.  These screws are also suitable for Timber Fencing Panels & Composite Gravel Boards.

Finally, one aim of a composite fence is to keep it looking good with the minimum of maintenance. Composite panels are hard wearing, and the composite materials used mean the boards should not rot, splinter or warp the way a traditional timber board might.  However, it will need a gentle hose and wipe down from time to time.
