Based in Devon we stock a wide range of Galvanised fixings. We primarily stock fixings for the timber products we sell. However, this range has grown substantially, and we supply specialised galvanised products nationwide via Courier services. We use a 48-hour service most fixing orders received before 1pm are delivered to the customer the next working day.

Builders and construction Galvanised metalwork.

From nail plates to herringbone struts, joist hangers to angle brackets we stock most of the builder’s everyday metalwork. Items used in protected areas usually use bright-zinc (BZP) galvanised finish. However, structures in more exposed areas, e.g. garden gates, should use hot-dipped galvanised T-hinges for improved service life. 

Farm and agricultural fixings

From gate hanging sets to padlocks, monkey bolts to Brenton bolts, throw-overs to gate catches we have a comprehensive range of hot-dipped galvanised fixings for farms, stables, and smallholdings.

Garden and fencing supplies

Fencing panels, garden gates, featheredge fences and decking installations all need securing. Post supports, galvanised hinges for garden gates, fence brackets and galvanised nails are all top sellers. Some products such as cabin hooks are available in BZP, galvanised, black coated or stainless steel options.  

Finally, please remember that other things being equal, hot dip galvanised products will last longer than BZP galvanised. Where possible select the heavy, more robust fixings – because timber treatments can react with galvanised coatings. And finally, always use stainless steel in preference to galvanised fixings with oak and cedar products.
