HardiePlank Trims

James Hardie design and produce a selected range of quality trims to complement their fibre cement cladding. These HardiePlank trims comprise internal corners, external corners, starter strips and vent strips. Please note that the JamesHardie MetalTrim corner profiles are only for vertical installation.

JamesHardie External Corners

These JamesHardie External Corners are manufactured using high quality coated aluminium, they help to produce a more professional finish. These MetalTrim™ corners are available in all 21 current HardiePlank® cladding colours in 3.0 metre lengths

JamesHardie Internal Corners

Consistency is maintained with these Hardie aluminium corners, finished in a choice of 21 colours to match or contrast, the fibre cement boards. Any small scratches on the JamesHardie trims can be repaired with Hardie Edge Seal paint.

Combined JamesHardie starter and ventilation strip

When installing HardiePlank horizontally the easiest method is to use the HardiePlank combined starter and ventilation profile. This should ensure the first plank is correctly fitted. This JamesHardie Starter Strip is manufactured in three thicknesses to suit 25mm, 38mm and 50mm battens. These Starter strips are 3.0 metres long.

HardiePlank Ventilation Profile

Designed as the top ventilation strip for HardiePlank® cladding and sizes to suit 25mm, 38mm and 50mm battens. Each of these three profiles are available in 3.0 metre lengths. The profile is perforated to prevent pests entering through the ventilation gap.
