HardiePlank VL Cladding is an addition to the established JamesHardie fibre cement products. JamesHardie produce a range of products from fibre cement, which primarily includes cellulose fibres, Portland cement and sand. Each board is 3600mm long, 214mm deep and 11mm thickness. Because the VL boards interlock for faster installation the actual cover of the VL board is 182mm. The cladding has a mass of 13.6 kg per square metre and has an A2 fire rating - see JamesHardie website for more fire rating details
HardiePlank VL Weatherboard Colours
The HardiePlank VL cladding complements the traditional lap profile HardiePlank. Eight colours have been selected from the JamesHardie range to provide the end-user with a variety of options. The colours are Anthracite Grey, Arctic White, Chestnut Brown, Grey Slate, Khaki Brown, Light Mist, Midnight Black and Sail Cloth
HardiePlank VL trims
Hardie also manufacture a specially designed range of trims for the VL system. These trims are made from aluminium and then treated with a colour coordinated finish
Hardie 15 Year Warranty
Finally, careful design, manufacturing and ColourPlus technology helps to reduce the maintenance on HardiePlank fibre cement boards. Therefore, both the HardiePlank and HardiePlank VL boards feature a 15 Year Warranty from James Hardie

HardiePlank Deliveries in Devon & Cornwall
At Southern Timber we offer a kerbside delivery for HardiePlank throughout most of Devon & Cornwall. Where this is via our own vehicles there is usually no delivery cost. However, the delivery may be chargeable depending on the delivery location and the total value of the order. Delivery lead time is usually between 2 and 5 working days. Some of the more remote areas of Devon & Cornwall may have to be serviced by Pallet delivery please see below.
HardiePlank Deliveries in Mainland UK
We now offer Palletline delivery to most of the UK Mainland. Because of transport costs this delivery option is most suited to larger renovations and new builds. Please note that access would be needed for a 36 tonne lorry and you would need to provide a mechanical offload on site. Pallet deliveries start at approx. £180 inc. VAT.
