Firstly the pack size for the Country Raw Oak is 1.914 square metres and each pack contains 6 planks. Each plank is 2200mm in length with a width of 145mm. The thickness of these engineered flooring boards is 13mm. The top wear layer of oak is 2.5mm and the boards also have a HDF (High Density Fibre) and veneer board. These Country Raw Oak boards are bevelled on all four sides, and the boards are light honey brown in colour. The flooring has an extra matt finish. You might also consider the Oak Pure which is a somewhat cleaner board with less knots

Each pack will contain one board which comprises two planks of shorter length to make up the total board length to 1820mm. This is one of the Vibrant grade boards in the Compact range, some of the other boards are graded as Marquant. The boards are brushed so as to highlight the natural grain of the wood planks. Natural knots are a feature of this product, they are not all fully filled. Finally, these engineered oak boards are UV lacquered with a 7 layer finish.

The flooring can be installed quickly and easily using the Uniclic Multifit system. Professional installers claim floor installation up to 30% faster than with traditional installation methods. Matching accessories

Quick-Step believe in offering more than just floors. Therefore each floor provides a collection of accessories. These include underlays, glue, finishing profiles and skirting boards to match or complement the floor colour. This timber flooring has a matching colour Parquet skirting board. The skirting is 80mm deep by 16mm thick and is available in 2.4 metre lengths

Warranty

Parquet floors bearing the trade mark Quick-Step® are warranted to be free of manufacturing errors or material defects. This residential warranty is for 25 Years for the flooring product. Also covered are the Uniclic® connections between the various parquet panels. Therefore the original, dated purchase invoice must be retained. Residential warranties are also subject to number of Terms and Conditions.
