The Quick-Step Massimo collection is part of the Quick-Step "Parquet" flooring range. The Quick-Step range features engineered timber boards, laminate and quality vinyl options. Within the Quick Step engineered flooring oak range there are seven different collections aiming to give maximum options. Massimo boards, as the name suggests, are big – 2400mm long with a width of 260mm. The Winter Storm Oak Extra Matt enjoys a Manufacturers Lifetime Domestic Warranty on the Uniclic fitting.
Massimo Engineered Oak options
White Daisy Oak Extra Matt is the lightest coloured option in the Massimo flooring collection. All packs of Massimo engineered boards feature planks of 2400mm in length combined with a width of 260mm. These oak faced boards are all 13.5mm thickness, with the face layer of oak being 3.2mm thick. This oak is fixed to a solid spruce core and backing board. Finally, these engineered oak boards have a bevel on all four edges and they are finished with 2 coats of UV cured oil.
Due to demand for a quick and easy floor installation these boards feature the Uniclic ‘Multifit’ system. This Multifit system enables the engineered boards to be clicked together using three different methods: drop down, angling or horizontal insertion.
Because maintaining the floor’s appearance is important the board ends feature ‘EdgeProtect+’ on the board ends. So, a protective coating is applied to minimise water and dirt ingress into the board ends.
Oiled Oak Boards and Pack Sizes
The pack size for the Massimo engineered oak flooring is 2.496 square metres and each pack contains four full length boards of 2400mm. Each pack will contain one board which comprises two planks of shorter length to make up the total board length to 2400mm. Because the grade for this Massimo range is Vibrant, a rustic grade, this means that the boards may include large knots and cracks. There will also be colour variations between the boards and they will have a rustic appearance. Similarly knots of up to 50mm are allowed in this grade and these knots may be part, or fully filled.
