Millboard Enhanced Grain
First and foremost in our decking products is the Millboard composite decking range. The Millboard Enhanced Grain deckboards have a smoother finish than the Millboard Weathered decking. The range of seven colours makes these boards suitable for either traditional or a more contemporary look. Furthermore Millboard decking provides a smooth transition from house interior to garden settings.
Board Dimensions and Colours
Each Millboard Enhanced Grain deckboard is 176mm wide, 32mm thick and 3.6 metres long. They are available in seven different colour tones: burnt cedar, golden oak, coppered oak, Jarrah, limed oak, smoked oak and brushed basalt. These quality boards can be used for decking, walkways, balconies, barbecues and seating areas.
In mid 2018 Millboard introduced a new colour, Brushed Basalt. Millboard describe this contemporary grey board as “the most authentic painted-wood-look decking board available”. To make the boards look as authentic as possible they are moulded from the same smooth timber boards as the rest of the enhanced grain range. Millboard’s enhanced grain decking is designed to make a smooth, seamless transition from your home interior to the exterior garden.
Millboard composition and Lastane surface layer
All Millboard’s deckboards are made from a wood-free polymer resin core and they are also fibre reinforced for additional strength. The boards are then bonded to a Lastane surface layer which is durable, UV stable and helps to conceal the Durafix stainless steel fixings. Because the surface is algae repellent it helps provide enhanced slip resistance in the wet and makes the boards almost maintenance free. All Millboard deckboards are moulded from real timber boards to provide a natural looking surface.

All of the Millboard decking boards are manufactured in the UK, they use 40% reclaimed materials and they offer an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional timber decking. The structural features and careful design of Millboard makes the boards durable and capable of withstanding heavy foot traffic. Because of this careful design the boards can be used for a wide range of commercial applications including hotels, pubs, restaurants, pubs, zoos and other leisure facilities.
