First of all, the Melrose Dining Set is made in the UK by a well established manufacturing group. Because the group imports and processes timbers from well managed forests then most of their products are FSC certified. All of the Hutton branded garden furniture (unless otherwise indicated) is machined from kiln dried joinery quality Scandinavian redwood timber. All garden furniture from Hutton uses next generation Tanalith® E wood preservative and quality timber. Therefore, this enables Hutton to offer a 15 year Treat-Right performance warranty on the full range of their garden products.

Melrose Dining Set – Dimensions

The Melrose Dining Set is part of Hutton’s garden product range. All of Hutton’s garden furniture is made from joinery grade redwood. Then, after each timber section is machined they are pressure treated using TANALITH E wood preservative which provides a 15 year TREATED-RIGHT performance warranty against wood decay and insect attack (terms and conditions apply).

This treatment helps protect the timber and provides an increased service life to dip-treated products. Both the quality of timber and construction make this garden table suitable for domestic and most commercial applications.

This dining set is designed to seat up to eight people. The table height is 790mm, the length is 1800mm and depth of 820mm. Similarly each benches is 540mm in height with a length of 1800mm and depth of 220mm. The dimensions for each product are provided as a guide but please note all measurements are approximate. The weight for the complete Melrose dining set is 140kg. e

Delivery and assembly

At Southern Timber we offer a kerbside delivery through the Torbay, Teignbridge, Exeter, South Hams and Plymouth areas. These local deliveries are usually free, each item of garden furniture is normally supplied flat packed, with all necessary fixings and assembly instructions. The table can be delivered to many Devon and Cornwall addresses.

Looking after your Garden furniture

All of our Hutton garden furniture is pressure treated, the initial colour is usually a light green or honey brown colour. However, this will gradually change over the months to a grey colour which is perfectly normal. Colours can be maintained and enhanced where required by using a pigmented oil from the Osmo UV protection range, or alternatively the timber appearance can be rejuvenated with Osmo or Liberon wood cleaners.
