The Cinnamon Oak Extra Matt is one flooring choice from the Quick-Step Palazzo collection. Well proportioned, these long and wide planks will add warmth and character to probably any room. All designs have a subtle V-groove on the longest side of each plank.
Cinnamon Oak Extra Matt: PAL3096
Firstly, each plank is 1820mm in length with a width of 190mm. Thickness of these oak faced boards is 13.5mm and the face layer of oak is 3.2mm thick. This oak is fixed to a spruce core which has a veneer backing. Pack size for the Uniclic engineered oak flooring is 2.075 square metres and the pack will contain 6 full length 1820mm planks. The floor design pattern is 1 strip, bevelled on all 4 sides with a V groove bevel.
This flooring has a ‘extra matt’ finish and is suitable for use in most living areas including kitchen, stairs and conservatory areas. However, while usable with underfloor heating it is not suitable for use in bathrooms. These boards can be floated or glued and they are compatible with low temperature underfloor heating
Because maintaining the floor’s appearance is important these boards feature ‘EdgeProtect+’ on the board ends. This protective coating is applied to minimise water and dirt ingress into the board ends. Similarly many boards also have ‘SurfaceProtect+’ applied to the whole board surface to reduce dirt getting into the grain.
The oak boards have a matt finish to make them look as natural as possible. The finish is lacquer, seven layers of protective UV lacquer to provide an easy cleaned floor. They have a grading level of Vibrant which means the boards may exhibit large knots, up to 80mm in size and these knots will be half filled. There may also be a “lively” variation in both colour and structure of the boards and sapwood is allowed. Similarly cracks are allowed in this grade.
