These Slatted Panels have been introduced to our fence panel range during June 2019. We have been asked by many customers for this style of panel which is produced by one of our existing Suppliers. Combining solid design with quality materials these contemporary panels will initially be stocked at 1.8m and 1.2m heights.

Slatted Panels Design and Manufacture

Smooth 14mm x 45mm slats are machined and then fixed to a supporting framework to produce an attractive, contemporary panel. This panel is designed with the smooth horizontal slats positioned to reduce wind load by allowing some air to pass through the 10mm gaps between the slats. These quality fence panels are finished with a 45mm x 55mm channeled framing around all the panel edges.

Panel Installation details

These Slatted fence panels are pressure treated with a light green preservative which mellows in colour when exposed to daylight. The panels can be supported using either 75mm (3”) or 100mm (4”) posts when installing. Our beaded newels offer a planed, decorative option for these contemporary panels. We carry sawn, planed and 15 year warranty post options in stock along with quick-setting Postcrete. Other associated products include 46mm Panel Clips, Gates, Stainless Steel Screws, Osmo Natural Woodstains and Planed Gravel Boards. We also stock diamond lattice in 1800mm x 300mm and 1800mm x 600mm sizes, they could be included to bring up the height of 1200mm panel

Panel Sizes

These Slatted Panels are stocked at 1800mm x 1800mm and 1800mm x 1200mm. Please note that imported panels are invariably 1800mm in width while British manufacturers still tend to produce panels at 1830mm. The panel dimension 1200mm and 1800mm refer to the vertical height at the centre of each panel.
