Rowlinson Security Shed Apex 6×4

This Rowlinson Security Apex Shed 6×4 is part of their Security shed range. The security sheds are their standard garden sheds with a little something extra – no standard glass window, more secure door furniture and quality door hinges. Rowlinsons also offer Security Apex 7 x 5 and Security Apex 8 x 6 sheds

Security Sheds:Buildings Construction

Firstly the wall sections are clad with a 12mm finished shiplap cladding. Constructed with plywood for the roof, the shed’s floor is made of tongue and groove (TGV) boards. It is vitally important (as with all buildings) that the building is placed on pressure treated bearers to ensure the timbers are not in ground contact. More details are in the enclosed assembly instructions. The building is supplied with mineral felt for the apex pitched roof. Finally both windows and the double doors are glazed with 3mm toughened glass.

Delivery and Shed Installation

All Rowlinsons garden buildings are delivered to kerbside and in flat pack format for customer assembly. Therefore each product is supplied with detailed Assembly Instructions. They can also be downloadable from this page in PDF format.
Adequate provision must be made to avoid ground contact and ensure air can circulate underneath the building. Placing the building on a concrete pad or slab base is acceptable provided that the building is not allowed to sit in pooled water during wet conditions. Consequently the shed MUST be located on pressure treated wooden 50mm x 50mm or similar bearers (These are not supplied in the kit).

Stock Availability

All Rowlinson’s Garden Products are supplied direct from their Cheshire Warehouse. Therefore no Security Sheds are available for collection from our Devon premises.

While most parts of Mainland UK are eligible for free delivery a few remote areas will have to pay a delivery surcharge. Please see Delivery details for Post Codes affected.
