Rowlinson Security Shed Apex 8×6

This Rowlinson Security Apex Shed 8’ x 6’ is another option in their Security shed range. The security sheds are based on standard garden sheds with a little twist – no standard glass window, more secure door furniture and quality door hinges. They are all supplied with another security feature, a small glass window high in the font panel of each shed. Also Rowlinsons offer the Security Apex 6 x 4 and Security Apex 7 x 5 sheds

Buildings Construction

First of all the wall sections are clad with a 12mm finished shiplap cladding. Constructed with plywood for the roof, the shed’s floor is made of tongue and groove (TGV) boards. Furthermore the door is fitted with a padlock protector (padlock not included) and also security hinges. It is vitally important (as with all buildings) that the building is placed on pressure treated bearers to ensure the shed is not in ground contact. Finally, the building is supplied with mineral felt for the apex pitched roof.

Delivery and Shed Installation

All Rowlinsons garden buildings are delivered to kerbside and in flat pack format for customer assembly. Each product is supplied with detailed Assembly Instructions which can also be downloadable from this page in PDF format.

Above all, adequate provision must be made to avoid ground contact and ensure air can circulate underneath the building. Placing the building on a concrete pad or slab base is acceptable provided that the building is not allowed to sit in pooled water during wet conditions. Because the shed must not sit on soil or grass it is vital it is rested on UC4 pressure treated wooden bearers (These are not supplied in the kit). Rowlinson Garden Products recommend using pressure treated bearers with all buildings on any type of base
