The Nougat Oak flooring is one choice from Quick-Step’s Imperio collection. Quick-Step’s flooring range features engineered wood, laminate and luxury vinyl floors.
Firstly, the pack size for the Nougat Oak Oiled is 1.936 square metres and the pack contains 4 planks. Each of these planks is 2200mm in length with a width of 220mm. The thickness of these engineered flooring board is 13.5mm. The top wear layer of oak is 3.2mm thick and the boards have a spruce core with a veneer backing. These Nougat Oak Oiled boards have a large bevel on all four sides. The flooring has an extra matt finish. You might also consider the Palazzo Blue Mountain Oak Oiled as an option
Floor grades included in the Imperio range are all Vibrant, except the Rough Grey Oak Oiled which is Marquant grade. The boards are deep brushed so as to highlight the natural grain of the wood planks. Natural knots are a feature of this product, they are not all fully filled. Click or Glue Installation
The flooring can be installed quickly and easily using the Uniclic Multifit system. This Multifit system enables the engineered boards to be clicked together using three different methods: drop down, angling or horizontal insertion. Professional installers claim floor installation of up to 30% faster than with traditional installation methods. Both Click and Glue versions are compatible with low temperature underfloor heating.
Because maintaining the floor’s appearance is important these boards feature ‘EdgeProtect+’ on the board ends. This protective coating is applied to minimise water and dirt ingress into the board ends.
Warranty
Engineered wood floors bearing the trade mark Quick-Step® are warranted to be free of manufacturing errors or material defects. This residential warranty is for the lifetime (up to 33 years) of the product. Also covered are the Uniclic® connections between the various parquet panels. Therefore the original, dated purchase invoice must be retained. Residential warranties are also subject to a number of Terms and Conditions. Commercial installations have to apply directly to Quick-Step to request a warranty.
