Here at Southern Timber we have always enjoyed supporting local talent where possible and so when the opportunity come up for us to get involved with the LegsUpForTalent campaign we were honoured.

LegUpForTalent works with horse riders and companies alike to bridge the gap in a much needed marketing service. LegUpForTalent was created to help Amateur riders gain financial, as well as in kind support to enable them to work their way up levels with the financial backing they need. Over the years, their riders have received over £400,000 worth of support and it is still to this day the only equestrian platform that provides an accountable and unique service successfully.

Southern Timber were matched with Georgie Pitts who is a 22 year old Nuclear Medicine Technologist, working for the NHS. Georgie represented our country playing field hockey and now due to injury has switched to riding and is starting at the bottom and working her way up. In September last year she jumped her first 45cm showjumping round and now her and her horse are competing and winning at 85cm!

It is wonderful to support Georgie as she works hard to work her way through the showjumping ranks and we are really looking forward to keeping you all up to date with how she is getting on and the work we are doing with her.

Good luck Georgie!
